Is Shirley Jacksons Lottery a Horror Story Or Not?
Is Shirley Jackson's Lottery a Horror Story Or Not?There are many questions asked about the lottery that relate to, if it is a horror story or not. There have been several movies made about the lottery, and there are many rumors that ask if this game is a scam, a fraud, or a classic example of the American Dream. So are we supposed to take Shirley Jackson's novel 'The Lottery' as a real life lesson in the art of the power game? I'm going to let you decide. Or should I ask you to give your opinion on this controversy to the lottery? That would make a very interesting essay sample. So should you take Shirley Jackson's book 'The Lottery' as a lesson on how to play the lottery? I can't answer that question for you, but if you feel strongly that you should then by all means, go ahead and read her book. After all, it was written over half a century ago, before the Internet was even invented, and when a book tells you what to do, it is not really a bad idea to check it out.To some, the lotter y is just another horrible reality, one where people who are at the top make all the rules. There are those who believe the lottery is a scam. They say, it is just like how the powers that be at Disney let things happen so that they can keep some people from making the money they want to make.In my opinion, the lottery is a game where all the most intelligent and well-trained humans work together to keep people happy, and give them the resources they need. The lottery is a wonderful business, and I am thankful for it every day, but I also realize that if we don't learn from the mistakes of the past, we could lose the very thing that keeps us from a horrible future. So is Shirley Jackson the lottery story, or are we supposed to see it as a horrible nightmare? This essay has many different answers, so let's discuss these in detail. First of all, if we consider this as a story about the future, then yes, it is a nightmare. However, if we consider it as an example of how good and creativ e people work together to make their dreams a reality, then, I'd say it is a great story about how to keep on dreaming. In my opinion, Shirley Jackson's story is a great lesson in the art of a little known game called the lottery. You see, Shirley Jackson was not trying to scare people away from the lottery. She simply wanted people to be happy and not be bitter when they lost. The funny thing is, Shirley Jackson has some valid points. It is easy to become greedy when you have all the money in the world, and unfortunately the lottery takes away a lot of that wealth, so more people are likely to fall into the trap of collecting their tickets and spending their money on lottery tickets instead of helping the less fortunate.
